Most pharmacies I've been to have messy filing cabinets, where almost no one except the manager can find anything.
The problem comes, though, if there's an inspection when the manager isn't there. If the inspector asks for records in the filing cabinet, and the pharmacist on staff can't find them, it's not a good start.
Get your filing cabinet in order by:
Clearly marking on each drawer what records are inside
Clearly labeling each file folder inside those drawers
Showing your stuff (techs included!) where the records are
It's not a bad idea to remind staff every 6-12 months. That could be part of your annual training, even. That way your pharmacy will be fully prepared for an inspection, no matter who is working that day.
